How does psychological support work?

You may go through several difficult periods during diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. If things become too difficult for you or your loved ones, you can't control certain thoughts, or the anxiety becomes too great, you can seek specialised psychological support in most centres. This does not mean you are weak or crazy. 

A psychologist will especially look at you and your loved ones listen, you give tips to deal with the situation to keep life bearable. Get help to cope with the giant cell tumour cope and stay mentally healthy. You will need all your attention. 

After completing treatment, contacts with the hospital diminish significantly but all kinds of challenges and difficult-to-handle emotions may still rear their heads, such as dealing with fatigue, fear of relapse,... 

Even then you can still go places for a listening ear :
